Finding Purpose

Lose anxiety, find purpose

Finding Purpose

October 19, 2013 Confessions of a therapist Finding Purpose 0

When I was in the middle of my MBA program and working full time. Everyone around me seemed to think I had it all going for me . . . but I was unhappy. Yeah, I was getting extremely good grades and was recognized by the dean as outstanding… but I was MISERABLE. I sought for my true purpose and the rest is history.

When you find your true purpose, you will no longer envy what the person next to you is doing. Isn’t that a relief? You will truly know that you are the only one who can do what you are specifically called to do. You are unique – NO ONE can do what you were created to do.

No matter how many things you fill that hole with…you can’t take the misery away.
– Therapist

-It is God who directs the life of his creatures; everyone’s life is in his power.
-You didn’t create yourself, so there is no way you can tell yourself what you were created for!
(Only the creator of the creation could reveal its purpose.)
– Rick Warren, author of Purpose Driven Life.
